Review: LA Girl HD Concealer

I freaking love these concealers. I bought them for $1.99 from ikatehouse.com. Shipping cost for $2-4? For reference, I am NC40 right now..

Creamy Beige: subtle highlighted look
Pure Beige: Brightening, natural for work
Medium Bisque: Seems similar to NW25. Still need to play with it
Medium Beige/Cool Tan: Perfect for my face
Warm Honey: perfect for around my mouth pigmentation (since it has a lot of orange)
Fawn: Lovely as a contour. Was a bit too dark for my pigmentation

Haul: Milani bright, bold lipsticks

Sweet Nectar - bright matte popsicle orange. I quite like it on my skintone. I like to bronze my self up to NC45-ish, and the color looks gorgeous!

Hot Pink Rage - OMG! I freaking love this color. Folks say its a dupe for MAC Candy Yum Yum. I dont have the MAC color, so who knows! It's a beautiful bright pink. It seems neutral pink on my lips (not too strong blue or orange based pink)

Uptown Mauve - lovely purple. It has more purple than MAC Girl about Town. It has a bit too much purple that it makes my pigmentation around my mouth look gray. Will play with it some more..

Love of the week: Mixing MAC Russian Red and MUFE #11

I applied a layer of MAC Russian Red, with MUFE #11 on top = gorge!! Perfect color for Fall.

Haul: New foundations

As you can probably tell, skincare and flawless base are my new obsessions! I love MAC full coverage, but of late I have been braving something more dewy. So here are the foundations I have accumulated in the past few months...

Luminess Air Beauty System

One of my most favorite Youtube channel is by the Indian makeup artist Megha. She is based in Atlanta GA, and recently had a contest for Luminess Air systems. And guess who won one of them - yours truly!!!

Emily from Luminess Air promptly wrote to me asking for my skintone, what type of coverage I like etc. I said I am MAC NC37-42 and I love full coverage. So she sent me this package via fedex. She also included a lovely handwritten note which was such a sweet touch!

I was not asked to take pictures or talk about the product. I am doing so because I was so impressed by the customer service, and I am sooooooooooo stoked about the product!! I will be doing a review soon.

Swatches: Graftobian, Mehron, MAC foundations

Here are the swatches finally. Please let me know if you have any questions.

• I will be returning my Cover FX M70 since its so similar to Graftobian Femme Fatale.
• Buttermilk is way too light for me. I will be swapping that away. I tried this under my eyes over the Joe Blasco Blue neutralizer, and it was beautiful!
• I tried Mehron Medium 4 on my face and the finish was BEAUTIFUL! The color is a touch gray, and a bit pink.
• I tried Mehron Eurasia Fair. The undertone is yellow so it's perfect for my skintone. It's a tiny bit light but it's much better than Medium 4 so far.
• I have not tried the other shades yet. Will keep you all posted
